The Eastwood Stormbird is a based on the 1960's non-reverse Firebird. Loaded with P-90 pickups, stop tail, tune-o-matic bridge and featuring a set maple neck design. The Stormbird is well balanced, solid instrument that delivers what you would expect from a guitar at three times the price.

I found the guitar to be a good playing instrument.
The neck was adjusted well and the fret job was good.
I was surprised at how well the pickups sound.
A good value.

I've owned three of these, and count the Stormbird as one of my faves of all time. It has huge vintage points, and offers a superior heel to the original it copies. The P90s are incredible, in fact the second Storm I owned had "upgraded" P90s that were NOT better than the originals in any way. I find the neck profile nicely beefy in a manner that many guitar necks aren't, and with bigger hands, it feels just right. When I want a bigger sound than a Strat or Tele, I reach for my Stormbird. You should too.

I find this Eastwood Stormbird to be 100 % as it is advertised to be. It is nice and light, handles very well, playability is excellent, nice slim neck, very high quality workmanship in fit and finish, high output pick-ups, sweet tone thru my Vintage Super Reverb Amp! I highly recommend this guitar, and, don't forget the 602 case.
