The SIDEJACK series are based on the 1960’s MOSRITE. Mosrite guitars were made in USA and began gaining in popularity in the early 1960’s with the help of The Ventures. Its distinctive shape features a reversed-Stratocaster look. The Sidejack is available in many different models and colors.
The "HB" version has coil-tapped Alnico Hot-10 Humbuckers. Pull up the tone knob to get the surf tones, push it back down for full on humbucker blues/rock.

I've had the P-90 Sidejack DLX for years and really like it. This new HB model is a perfect sidekick for my Sidejack! The humbuckers have a fantastic growl that is not achieveable with the P-90's on my earlier one, and the coil tap option has a versatile tone too. If you like the Sidejack DLX, you will LOVE the HB version.

Let's get this out of the way: I love this guitar. It feels good to play and looks fantastic. About me - I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and still perform regularly in clubs and medium sized venues. This guitar is being played through a Marshall JTM 45.
Humbuckers - Good balance. The push-pull tap on the tone knob was unexpected and a nice touch. Tone is transparent.
Neck Feel - The frets and binding are well done. Plays well. No defects on mine.
Tuners - Schaller knockoffs, but no issues. Do the job!
Roller Bridge - rattles, buzzes. Also sticks a bit. Will definitely be replaced. I think it was simply not milled very well in production.
The finish looks a bit splotchy on mine. Otherwise it is a beautiful instrument. This was a bit of a disappointment. Nothing major, just cosmetic.
