  1. Takes my playing DEEP

Posted by James Spina on 29th Sep 2015

Aside from the fact that the look, quality and sound of this guitar is SUPERB I must also state that, although just a mediocre player at best, NO GUITAR I've ever owned has pushed me to improve my playings and songwriting more than this amazing Sidejack. I'm constantly picking it up to noodle by myself, accompany my 12 year old son in his aspiring rock endeavors and making it my g-to guitar when I need to offer some extra color when jamming with friends. As for its other attributes: Just look at that price! Shocking bargain. GO. FOR. IT.

  2. Very nice for the price.

Bought it as an alternative to Fender, who have lost the plot somewhat. Looks really cool. Beautifully made.
Greenburst is sharp. Looks good "on".
Tone is quite exciting and interesting and opens up new songwriting and composition possibilities.

Jury is still out on the pickups . Could be my crappy Vox amp, but overall very impressed. Played nicely right out of the box. Set up just about perfect. Super fast delivery. Nice people too.

  3. best sub 500 dollar baritone!

Played a lot of baritones. None can stand up to the eastwood at anywhere near this price point

  4. wow!

I've been a big fan of Eastwood Guitars for a while, but this was my first purchase of one of their guitars. Here are my comments....

    - Hassle free ordering!
    - I got my order the next day! I was floored at how quickly I got it, given the holiday season
    - flawless guitar. This thing is a real beauty and I have trouble putting it down. Its my first baritone guitar, so its unique and fun. Its really nice to play great neck and finish

My only negative comment', and its minor, is that there should be a bevel in the body for the strumming arm with more contour. Its hard edge can be annoying after a few hours of play.

Great job, Eastwood. I'll be shopping with you again

  5. Quick Review and comment

Posted by Unknown on 29th Sep 2015

I received the guitar one hour ago. Arrived undamaged, neck is straight, intonation seems pretty good, pots sound good, pickup selector works, tuning pegs work well. All in all, not bad for a "made in China". Your website did not mention where this product would be shipped from, so I paid extra for "3 day shipping". I made my on-line order at 1pm 7/30, and received today (8/4) at 4pm. It seemed like, and was, a long 3 days. If I had known the item was being shipped from the Chicago area(5 hrs from my home), I wouldn't have paid the extra $.
(I have been playing for over 55 years, this is my 1st baritone)

  6. Challenging the "BIg Boys"

Posted by Dennis on 19th Feb 2015

I bought this guitar primarily to give me some brain exercise - transposing songs to a new tuning. However, what I found is a guitar that's hard to put down. The sound and playability (right from the box) are amazing, and the build quality is very good. One minor flaw in the body binding is the ONLY thing which preventing me giving it 5 stars. The overall quality of my Custom Shop Fenders and Gibsons may still be superior, but they are feeling the pressure. This will NOT be my last Eastwood guitar.
