The SIDEJACK series are based on the 1960’s MOSRITE. Mosrite guitars were made in USA and began gaining in popularity in the early 1960’s with the help of The Ventures. Its distinctive shape features a reversed-Stratocaster look. The Sidejack is available in three different models.

Got mine a few days ago, and so far my impressions are good. The immediate reaction was what a great LOOKING instrument it is--my wife commented on the color right away. Fit and finish are pretty good, too--the biding is nicely executed, frets are well-finished, and again, the paint is nice. The only small quibble here is a few small runs, but as I said, it is quite nice. Pots, switching and the jack all seem acceptable so far, as are the tuners.
It's pretty comfortable to play, and the sound, even acoustic, is, as my wife said, "very full." Plugged in, output is plenty high, and the sound is snappy and snarly, as one would expect from P-90s. I was a little surprised by how noisy the pickups are, but, again, this is characteristic of P-90s. I will be doing an easy mod to render one of the pickups reverse wound, reverse polarity (RWRP), which will kill hum in the center position.
Eastwood would do well to put the RWRP mod into the design of this and their other soapbar-equipped instruments.
My only other small complaint is that the lowest string is a little buzzy, but I anticipate that, with a little adjustment, this will be moderated.
For the price, this is a great playing, great sounding, and interesting instrument with a lot of creative possibilities.

Was hesitant to buy online without playing it (never done that before) but the guitar is fabulous, good fit and finish. Needed a bit of a setup (don't all guitars) but plays beautifully. Had some issues with import charges but all was personally taken care of by the owner Mike. Love showing off my baritone. Will definitely recommend to others.

I’m always looking for some variety in my stock of guitars and thought a baritone would be an interesting addition. When I happened upon Eastwood guitars and their Mosrite-like model, I thought I’d take a chance. My main concern was that it was made in China and would lack quality workmanship etc..It turns out that the guitar is rather well made..The neck/fret board flat and straight, no rough edges, no cracks in the binding, volume/tone & p/u select switch work fine(though there is a slight grounding issue), and most important to me; the guitar arrived nearly perfectly intonated and remains so. The baritone is a different kind of animal, but if you’re into 60’s surf music or a different sound, get yourself one of these!

Aside from the fact that the look, quality and sound of this guitar is SUPERB I must also state that, although just a mediocre player at best, NO GUITAR I've ever owned has pushed me to improve my playings and songwriting more than this amazing Sidejack. I'm constantly picking it up to noodle by myself, accompany my 12 year old son in his aspiring rock endeavors and making it my g-to guitar when I need to offer some extra color when jamming with friends. As for its other attributes: Just look at that price! Shocking bargain. GO. FOR. IT.

Bought it as an alternative to Fender, who have lost the plot somewhat. Looks really cool. Beautifully made.
Greenburst is sharp. Looks good "on".
Tone is quite exciting and interesting and opens up new songwriting and composition possibilities.
Jury is still out on the pickups . Could be my crappy Vox amp, but overall very impressed. Played nicely right out of the box. Set up just about perfect. Super fast delivery. Nice people too.

Played a lot of baritones. None can stand up to the eastwood at anywhere near this price point
