The SIDEJACK series are based on the 1960's MOSRITE. Mosrite guitars were made in USA and began gaining in popularity in the early 1960's with the help of The Ventures. Its distinctive shape features a reversed-Stratocaster look. The Sidejack 12 is available as STD (Stop Tail) or DLX (tremolo tail).

Ok, I admit it. I love whammy bars, I have put a bigsby on more guitars than I can remember, Rics, Les Pauls, Teles. And my Stratocasters are set to float. Love that 60's surf twang, that 50's Chet sound. So when I saw the Eastwood Sidejack 12 DLX with a vibrato....in LEFTY (which I'm) I had to have one. I was skeptical that it would actually work. It does. It works well! Tighter than a Jazzmaster but with the tension of 12 strings that makes perfect sense. A tiny bit of nut grease under each string removed any "string ping" and this guitar plays great, sounds great, looks great and has me doing the "Surfing Byrd"! Get it?!! Seriously, tremendously fun and easy 12 string to play. Oh btw the string spacing is nice and wide so the 12 strings are easy to manage. I have a 12 string Ric that I do love but this Side jack is a refreshing change. Get one! and if you are a lefty get one quickly!
