Fender clone. Nice case for the money. Fits the Warren Ellis Tenor perfectly. If you have an Ellis Tenor, you need this case. I've tried to fine one on the open market and they just don't exist. Hardware is a little cheesy hence the 4 star rating.
I recommend it.

This brand new case arrived with a big scratch all the way across the top. Having said that, the case is very nice - fits the Warren Ellis Tenor nicely and does everything itʻs supposed to. However, the shipping was not so impressive. Whoever boxed this thing up did the absolute minimum as far as the packing goes. One small triangle of torn cardboard on the side and one small cube of styro on the top. It was totally loose in there. Not a good first impression...

The case has a nice thick interior with a large storage compartment. It is very nice to have this extra space in the case for storing patch cords or other related guitar supplies.
These cases are fine. However-
There are a few small problems:
It's not a quality leatherette or tweed cloth exterior like you might find on a competing product, -these are constructed from a basic textured vinyl/textured plastic, and sadly they are very susceptible to scratches and abrasions if you happen to bump them into anything at all. Because they are plastic they will slide all too easily while being transported in a vehicle , so make sure you wrap them up in a drop cloth before you drive to your next gig -or you may be sorry when your guitar goes flying in your car.
The 3 latches that secure the case are fairly thin pot metal, and they work OK... (but just OK, they're not great..)
The case lid seems to be thick enough for proper support.
The Eastwood logo looks VERY cool, the cases are fairly reasonably priced, but I believe strongly that Eastwood really ought to offer an upgraded guitar case to those of us who really would prefer a better quality product and wouldn't have any problems paying a little extra in order to own one in tweed cloth or a quality leatherette material.
Nice case interiors, ...not so great latches and hardware, slippery plastic vinyl exterior susceptible to damage.
