I got this bass as I didn't want to keep bringing my vintage 60's Grestch bass around to club gigs where it would be at risk of drunks knocking it over or spilling beer on it. (Wasting beer!) So I got this bass and man, am I impressed! Fit and finish are excellent. Sounds really good and the case is worth every penny. My only complaint would be how the controls work but I'm a lefty so that may account for it. Also, The neck is a bit narrow but I'm picking hairs now. I love that these guys offer an array of lefty instruments. I've gotten more compliments on this bass (looks and sound) than I ever got on my vintage Grestch. I own 18 basses and I'm really happy I've added this guy to my collection. Every time I pull this out of the case I smile. Get the hard shell case. Cheers!

I purchased this bass, to possibly use as a backup bass, for my epiphone rivoli , way back in january 2008. Since that time, this bass has been my primary bass for both the 60s styled sounds, and as a replacement for use in my 70's and 80's style sounds for my classic rock bands (replacing my prized precision.
bass is confortable ( fairly lighweight) and provides the tone i need for jusr about any gig. the short scale is also easier to play, as i am a converted guitar player. good pro quality, for an inexpensive bass.
A great , versatile, and great looking instrument

I bought this Classic 4 bass to replace my Fender P-Bass. Needed a shorter scale, but when I tried this Eastwood Classic 4 I just fell in love. Beautiful, flawless workmanship, perfect set up, amazing tone. The neck is perfect for small hands or slightly tighter (arthritic) hands like mine. The body looks huge but is very comfortable either sitting or standing. Great bass for the beginner, pro, on stage or in studio.

I have wanted this bass for almost ten years now. I finally got it and its better than I could have imagined. The tone is amazing and it plays very well. This will definitely be my go to bass!

Granted, I am just starting to play, but I do know something about basses, and I am very happy I chose this one. I spent months researching what was out there; lefties are so limited. This bass is gorgeous, I am already comfortable with the action on it; I look forward to playing everyday and can't wait to start playing songs. The bass came with flatwound strings, I will put roundwound on it. My husband, the right handed musician, can't keep his hands off if my bass! MINE!!

I've been playing bass for almost twenty years. This is the first left handed bass I have ever owned. All my others are righties flipped. What do I like about this bass? Almost EVERYTHING! Since so few southpaws are sold, it only comes in Walnut. I was a little apprehensive about that based on the pictures on line because it looks really flat, and mundane. DO NOT BE FOOLED! The deep reds that show are beautiful. The pick guard color isn't my favorite, but the pearloid shark tooth fret inlays, and nickel plated knobs look really good. The number of different tones that come out of this bass are good. The neck pickup is very warm sounding, the bridge nice and bright for those 70's rock songs, when playing both the ability to balance the tone is nice. The 30 1/2" scale length is comfortable (some I've played feel rather claustrophobic). Nice slim neck makes for a quick feel. There was very little set-up needed out of the box. I adjusted the action up a little due to fret noise, but again, maybe an eighth turn on the E string side, and less than that on the G. It's comfy hanging on my shoulders, not too heavy, and balances fairly well. I played a 3 hour jam session and had no complaints. Would I recommend this rig to any of my friends? Oh hell yeah!
