Story

The Astrojet was the second tenor guitar model from Eastwood, originally launched more than a decade ago. It was discontinued a few short years later, but the model continues to make its rounds on stages and in recordings to this day.

Since then, we've received countless requests to bring them back... and so that time is now!

This little tenor is excellent. The fit and finish is really good and it looks great as an alternative to the more traditional styled tenors. It’s got a skinnier fretboard than other Eastwood offerings, but is none the worse for it, and if you’re used to standard guitar or uke string spacing you’ll be comfortable.

This is my second Eastwood Tenor. I also have a Delta 4. The Astrojet has the simplified controls of an SG with the offset body of the Gretsch Astro-Jet. It came well packed and in perfect condition. A quick tune and I checked the intonation, which was spot on. The humbuckers are well matched in output and sound great. I love the narrow neck though someone with 'fat' fingers might find it too narrow. It's very similar to my Blueridge A/E Tenor which was my previous favorite guitar. For anyone...

This is my second tenor from Eastwood (first being the Metallic Margarita Warren Ellis 2p). I've had this guitar for less than a week, but already love it!
