  1. I'm not a pro

Posted by James on 20th Jun 2016

Playing guitar is a hobby of mine, but I never invested a lot of money into it. I don't play gigs, I don't even play with other people I just like to noodle around sometimes. I finally have the means to put some money into an instrument, obviously it was the Airline Tuxedo, and I couldn't be happier. The tone and the range of sounds this guitar is capable of is unbelievable. If you play it well you are rewarded with a very rich sound it's very fulfilling. So it's weird but in a way the guitar doesn't just make me sound better it makes me play better. It at least makes me try harder to play better.

  2. TONS of Mojo

Posted by Björn (Sweden) on 3rd Jun 2016

I just picked up a used 2010 black Tuxedo. It's a real mojo machine! I love a good guitar with its own characteristic tone. And this sure got it. Definitly worth the money.

In short: A really cool guitar with great playability !

  3. White Airline Tuxedo

I own many other guitars and my Tuxedo is my favorite by far, I am thinking of getting by a black one as a backup and play these exclusively.

  4. UNIQUE !!

Posted by Django Mango on 25th Jan 2016

The Airline Tuxedo is a very unique guitar. It has outstanding acccoustic properties for an electric guitar due to the solid wood back, sides and top and the fully hollow design. No F holes means great tolerance to feedback for a fully hollow guitar. The P-90 s are very nice and some will be tempted to experiment with other types of P-90s, but the stock pickups are really very nice for Blues, Classic Rock and Jazz. The pickups have a smokey , gritty flavor with excellent midrange. I enjoyed mine so much that I had an all acoustic version (no holes for pickup in body or any electronics) that I will eventually add floating pickups to. A very Cool Guitar !!

  5. beautifully made

Getting back into playing the guitar and wow! what sweet looking set up, so well made and perfect intonation straight out of the box.
Playing through a hand made princeton, hepas of meaty tones and exactly the P90 tone i was after!
    Well done Eastwood.

  6. Elegant Axe

Posted by Steve on 1st Oct 2015

Fretboard feels wonderful. The pickups sound silky, quiet. I expected more noise from P90's. Finish is impeccable, a really beautiful guitar.
I gave it four stars because palm mutes are something you have to get used to because the trapeze tail is so close to the tune-o-matic.
This comes with 10's and they suit the guitar, intonation is good. I enjoy perfect intonation. I'll be putting on an Earvana nut. I like 11's with a wrapped third.
