  1. Great guitar. Absolutely love it.

It's definitely worth it to go for the special edition while you can. The one I ordered was 6/12 so if you're looking into this one I'd make a decision soon. The guitar came with an original airline hard case, a cable, and was already strung. It's ready to play right out of the box. The pick ups have a nice thick full sound to them, and great sustain. I can't really see the need to replace them, but it's personal preference. The lacquer color and finish is a deep royal blue, and the gold pick guard accents the guitar really well. I chose to go with eastwood, because I wanted something a little different then fender or Gibson, but with high quality. I love the retro 50s look that the airlines have, but fitted with upper end electronics. It's definitely a must have for any vintage oriented guitar players or for someone looking for something different than brand names but still holding on to quality.
