  1. As Cool as the Original but Better

Posted by JMAC on 4th Dec 2014

Mine arrived yesterday. I always expect to tweak a new guitar but the setup was surprisingly good right out of the box. 1/4 turn raise of the bridge on the treble side and I was ready to go. Took a little experimenting to figure out the controls (tone, volume, volume) but it plays and sounds good. I owned a mid-60's National Map but it had many problems. This one has the looks of the original but without the hassles. This one will need a little sanding on the fretboard to smooth it out but, other than that, this is an excellent instrument. Look forward to playing it.

  2. Eastwood Airline Map Guitar-Sunburst

Posted by Jim & Carol Moy on 3rd May 2014

Just rec'd the above guitar as a suprise gift from my wife. WOW...what a great guitar. I have been playing for 50 years professionaly and have many guitars of all makes and price points and I rank this guitar up there with the best of them. Great feel, great looks,
fantastic tones, and very comfortable. Any venue of music fits this guitar. I am currently looking into another model to add to my collection. If your looking for quality craftsmanship, great tones, feel, and looks, then look into Eastwood Airline guitars.
