This tribute to the 1960's Airline H77/78 - which at the time was also available under the brands of Harmony and Silvertone - covers all the best parts of the originals, but kicks it up a notch for 2014. True in almost every detail to the original, "upgraded" features include the new Gold Foil Argyle pickups, a modern roller bridge for tuning stability, a center block for Bigsby stability and feedback suppression.

Ok I play guitar and know it's "all about the sound" but think about it 3 pickup and 3 set of control tone/ volume what kind of new sounds you can make. Love the neck and fret marker and it's Hollow body . Looks a lot like Peter Frampton Guitar .

I have been looking to get a semi-hollow guitar for a really long time. Initially I was looking at some Gibson models but they were way out of my price range. After a lot of research I came across this H77. It is absolutely beautiful in person! For the price I really don't think you could find better value. It sounds amazing and has a lot of versatility. Go to the store and try it yourself!

I was surprised that Mike ordered these in lefty. I think I ordered my right as the email alert went out.
It's a fantastic guitar, as are all Eastwood/Airline instruments. A tribute to the Harmony something-model. I'm sure others here know what the Harmony model was. I have not played out with it yet, and will give a longer review when I do (If people seem interested).
The three sorta Gold Foil pick-ups don't have a whole lot of volume, but that's not what this guitar is about, and they do have great and tasty tone. All the effects I'm using with it are simply a tuner, some reverb from my amp (or a bit of chorus if I'm using my Roland JC-120) and an Electro Harmonix East River Drive overdrive pedal - delightful! I don't use Bigsby set-ups, but I believe they have them available. As a pretty straight up Tele user, I am digging the sound of the middle and neck together. The bridge p.u. is fine, but it ain't my beloved Tele ice pick to the skull sound, but I WANTED something different, and I love the front two pickups together. Plus, IMHO, the front pickup by itself with the tone rolled off gives a quite respectable jazz tone.
These may be all gone by now. If not, and you dig guitars other than Fenders, Gibsons, and high end stuff, you should check them out.
Eastwood is a delight to work with - I have three of their guitars. I have never had a problem with them re: fit and finish, proper set up, or shipping delays. They be good people.

This is the review for the Airline H77 by Eastwood.
First off, let's talk about customer service and shipping time.
It only took a couple days for the guitar to get here, the box arrived in pretty good condition, decently sealed and sized.
Despite the one minor issue that I had with the guitar, Mike was there every step of the way to make sure that I was satisfied with the instrument. And yes, I am satisfied with it.
Now let's take a look at the guitar case and the instrument itself. The H77 is a real beauty. The rectangle block fret markers were the first thing that caught my attention, the beautiful pickups second. The tone and volume knobs are a great accent against the black finish on the top of the guitar, as well as the pickguard, which matches the dark tortoiseshell headstock,
Finally, my opinion on the H77.
It's an overall great instrument for the price I paid. I never thought I'd get a guitar as nice looking and playable as this one. I give the Airline H77 a 10/10. I highly recommend this guitar for anyone who is on a budget, but wants a quality instrument.
I also want to thank Mike again for the quick replies via email. This shows that the owner of a company who is willing to talk to their customers, cares about making sure the customers are satisfied.
